Stone Brewing has unveiled two new summer seasonals, which are launching in select markets nationally. The first, Stone Citrusy Wit is a 5.3% abv witbier brewed with tangerine and kaffir lime leaf. The second, Stone Mocha IPA, is a 9% abv double IPA brewed with cocoa, milk sugar and coffee. Both Mocha IPA and Citrusy Wit are rolling out now in 12-ounce bottle six-packs and on draft. In other company news, California-based Stone is entering the Wisconsin market this month through distributor Beechwood Sales and Service, extending its territory to 43 states.
•Nashua, New Hampshire-based Vertical Spirits has debuted Nautical Gin, its first craft spirits offering. Nautical ($33 a 750-ml.), an American-style gin, features coastal botanicals, coriander, lemongrass, elderberry, spearmint and allspice among other ingredients. Test launched in New Hampshire earlier this spring, it will roll out across Massachusetts and Rhode Island this summer, with New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Georgia and Florida launches slated for later in the year. Established in June 2015, Vertical Spirits is led by restaurant industry veterans Ken Siegel and Jon Stilianos and former Proximo Spirits regional manager Donnie White.
