Goddess of Sun
- 2 oz. Nautical Gin®
- 3 oz. fresh pineapple juice
- 1/2 lime
- 1 oz. Szechuan simple syrup*
- Sun spice for rim**(optional)
Add all ingredients to a shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled martini glass rimmed with sun spice.
*Szechuan Simple Syrup Recipe
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup dried Szechuan peppers
Bring all ingredients to a boil. Stir regularly to ensure sugar is dissolved. Continue to cook over low heat 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and cool. Strain using a fine mesh strainer.
**Sun Spice Equal parts sugar and chili powder. Rub cut lime on rim of martini glass, then coat with spice mixture.
